Proceeds from fun runs also help Women Veterans Giving give small business awards to women veteran business owners. We owe it to these women who volunteered to join the military to protect our freedoms.
All proceeds will benefit Women Veterans Giving.
After the fun run, stick around for the Red, White and Blue Parade! The first Orangevale Parade was in 1963 route began on Central Avenue ending, at the Orangevale Youth Center on Hazel Avenue. 1965, the parade route was moved to Greenback Lane and then in 1971, the parade was moved to Oak Avenue. The parade returns after COVID-19 to the 1974 route on Greenback Lane.
The theme is “Red, White and Blue” for this year’s Summer Palooza and parade. Participation will be a variety of businesses and organizations, clubs, community groups, sports teams, local, county, and town representatives, emergency services, and other parade entertainers.
Women Veterans Giving hopes that you will continue to support them and help get the word out by sharing on your social media to family and friends.
