General
The site truly presents a win-win situation for both event advertisers and guests. Event advertisers can take advantage of the site so they can post their events, ready to be promoted by event promoters. On the other hand, people who are interested in these events can stay updated as event details are sent to their email and are shared on the social media accounts of the site. We all know that the success of these events rely on the high number of people who will attend. On the other hand, people are always on the lookout for these events. The site brings the two together, providing a win-win opportunity for them.
It’s true that the site started with Pittsburgh only. But due to the increasing demands, we have now established a new system to include events all over the USA.
We track the location using you IP address and it could be as accurate as 5 to tens of miles. It’s not perfect but does a pretty good job.
You can do it from your Dashboard. Click on “EDIT” beside “MY PROFILE”.
From the Dashboard, click on “Post and Manage Events (Event Advertiser)”. Afterwards, click on edit or delete besides the listing that you want to edit or delete.

Eventsburgh allows advertisers to have a wider reach by acting as an online event promotion marketplace. Unlike other event posting sites, our system is set up in such a way that it will be very easy for you and for other people to promote your event. First of all, it’s what we call a “digital flyer” because all event information are made available in a single page. You’ll also get a unique short URL that you can use to easily promote your event.
Advertisers set how much they want to spend for each view (click) of the event information they posted. Promoters get to choose which events are suitable for their audiences to know and get paid by spreading the event information.
Eventsburgh.com itself also functions as an event listing site and and broadcast upcoming events using multiple channels such as newsletters and social media profiles. You’re not on your own when it comes to promotions. Your event will be included in our newsletters for that boost in exposure. In addition, we also have several social media channels that will be used to promote your event as well. Last but not the least, we have tools in place to encourage other people to share your event in their social media accounts.
Please click on the “Subscribe” tab on the top of our website. It doesn’t matter if you’re interested in posting events or you’re just interested in the details of these events. It’s a good idea to subscribe to the site. Our newsletters are city-based and our system will send events close to your location automatically.
It’s also a good idea to follow our social media accounts. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter! Bookmarking the site is also recommended!
Our standard newsletters are sent every week ONLY if there are new event posts.
We hate spams ourselves so don’t worry, we won’t spam your inbox.
Why bother looking for things to do when you can get event updates sent straight to your inbox?
Our listing is more focused on local events and they’re more unique compared to other event listing sites.
You can always update your subscription preference by clicking the “update your profile” link in the newsletters we send you.
You can check out our support page. You can also contact us via our contact us page. We also have a knowledge base for more information.

Advertisers
Event organizers, producers, and promoters can post their own events on the site.
On the upper right hand section of the site, there is a red “Add An Event” button. Clicking on that button will take you to a form that you need to fill out so you can post your event. Fields marked by a red asterisk are mandatory. Here are the mandatory fields:
1. Select Category
2. Is it Free?
3. Event Title
4. Address Line1
5. State
6. City
7. Zip Code
8. Event Start Time
9. Owner Name
10. Email ID
11. Cost per click
Please note that there are paid options that can help you improve your listing. You can add more categories, add a ticket link, add a video code, highlight your event, and make your listing featured.
After filling out the details, you can preview your listing to see how it will look like live. You’ll also see how much the payment total will be. From the preview page, you can either go ahead and continue with the listing or go back to edit it.
Your event page will be removed from the site 5 days after the end of the event date.
The minimum Cost Per Click (CPC) is $0.05 thus you are required to have at least a $0.05 credit in your account to post an event.
When your credits fall below the minimum CPC, the short URL code will disappear and event promoters will no longer be able to promote your event.
We recommend you to monitor the promotion effort status and have sufficient credits for smooth and continuous event promotion activities.
We also offer various options for you to make your event page stand out. Check it out.
The paid event posting will remain “featured” until the event date.
Promoters
The unique short URL code appears on the event page only if you are logged in.
You should be updated with the upcoming events. If you see an event that you’d like to promote, grab the short URL and start posting it on your social media accounts! You can also promote it on blogs or websites. You can even email the link to your friends. The possibilities are endless.
Each short URL is unique and is associated with your account, so every time someone clicks on the short URL you distributed you will get credits for it.
Every time someone clicks on the short URL you distributed, you will earn credits. You can see the stats of the events and the details of the event themselves on your Dashboard. From there, you can also see your unpaid earning balance. Clicking on the Earning/Payment History will show you the earnings that you’ve been paid for.
You also need to provide a Paypal email address to receive the payment. Once your unpaid earning balance reaches $25 at the end of a month, we will send the payment to your Paypal account in the following month. If you need to change your Paypal email address, you can do so from the Dashboard. Click on “Promote other people’s events (Event Promoter)” from inside the Dashboard. From there, you’ll see a link where you can “Update PayPal Email”.
Every time someone clicks on the short URL you distributed, you will get a promo point(s). You will also get points by simply posting the short URL on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
You will be rewarded with a $50 gift card for every 5000 promo points, as simple as that.

Organizers can also see your effort from their profile page. If you want to be super serious about promoting certain events, we provide various tools for you to communicate and coordinate with the event organizers.
When someone clicks on the unique URL you distributed, your account will be credited in US dollars. As long as you use the event listing short URL provided in the event listing page, you will earn money for every clicks that you get.
